• George Duke made a name performing as a jazz pianist with Jean-Luc Ponty, Frank Zappa, and Stanley Clarke. In a Mellow Tone (2006) is his most recent solo release.

• Dubbed the “Superman of Soul,” Marcus Miller is recognized by Bass Player magazine as one of the Top 10 most influential bass musicians.
