The Center for Education at Wolf Trap is a nonprofit, national, arts-in-education resource center for children, parents, educators, and performing artists with two unique spaces available for rent.
The Education Hall
- Capacity of up to 300 (standing only) and measures approximately 5,175 square feet.
- Moveable interior walls can divide the room into four sound-mitigated sections that can be used simultaneously for a wide array of activities.
- The Terrace is included, weather permitting, with rental of the Education Hall.
The Lecture Hall
- The 100 capacity raked, fixed-seating and stage area provides the perfect environment for lectures, multimedia presentations, and more.
- The Lecture Hall can be rented in conjunction with the Education Hall at an additional cost.
Meeting Rental Rates
(Monday-Friday, 9 am – 5 pm only)The Education Hall
- Prices range from $200 to $750 for a 4-hour event.
- Price will be determined based on number of quads that will be used (including catering staging areas, if necessary).
The Lecture Hall
- $500 for a 2-hour event
- $250 in conjunction with an event in the Education Hall
Pre-Barns Performance Rental Rates
(Cocktail/dinner party–after 5 pm)The Education Hall (includes adjoining terrace, weather permitting)
- Two quads (one half of the hall) rent for $600 for a 2-hour event
- Four quads (the entire hall) rent for $850 for a 2-hour event
Social Event Rental Rates
The Education Hall (including adjoining terrace, weather permitting)- Friday through Sunday – $4,500, 7-hour minimum (includes 2 hours for set-up, 4 hours for the event, and 1 hour for clean-up). Additional hours are available at $400 per hour. All events must end no later than 11 pm, with clean-up ending by 12 am.
- Monday through Thursday – $2,400, 6-hour minimum (includes 2 hours for set-up, 3 hours for the event, and 1 hour for clean-up). Additional hours are available at $300 per hour. All events must end no later than 11 pm, with clean-up ending by 12 am.
Exceptions and Notes
- Please contact the Rentals Office at (703) 938-8463 for additional information, including exclusive catering list and caterer responsibilities.
- The Center for Education is a non-smoking facility; smoking is only permitted in designated outside areas.
- Capacities may vary depending on desired layout for event.
- Rates are guaranteed by signed contract only.
- A security deposit (refundable) in the amount of $400 is required with the signed contract.
